Jim Thomson serves as senior vice president of investor relations at Marble Capital, overseeing investor relations and fundraising activities. Before joining Marble, Jim worked at CAZ Investments, developing and evaluating investment themes and monitoring investment performance for investors including family offices, registered investment advisors, and institutions. With more than fifteen years of experience in banking, finance, and private equity, Jim began his career at Amegy Bank in the Corporate Lending group. He then worked at UBS Investment Bank, focusing on corporate finance and M&A advisory assignments, and Sage Road Capital, a lower middle market energy private equity firm. Jim graduated Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in Economics. He is a native Houstonian and enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife and two children.
